A blood donation camp was organized at the Parliament House on December 13th, 2007 by Indian Red Cross Society, Blood Bank (NHQ) to mark the sixth Commemoration Day of the supreme sacrifice made by security personnel on duty while thwarting the attack of terrorists in Parliament House.

The camp was organized by Mr. K. Vijay Kumar, Director (Ops) Lok Sabha. VIPs including Hon'ble Vice President of India & Hon'ble Chairman Rajya Sabha, Hon'ble Prime Minister, Hon'ble Speaker (Lok Sabha), Hon'ble Deputy Chairman, Rajya Sabha & leaders of opposition in Lok Sabha/Raj Sabha visited on the occasion.

107 people donated blood voluntarily in the camp.

Prof. (Dr) S.P. Agarwal, Secretary General and Dr. Manoj Kumar, Joint Secretary , Indian Red Cross Society were also present.
