Red Cross gave me the voice. I was at Rourkela with my friend enjoying Dusshera. Those were the days we enjoyed biking, speed and thrilling adventures.
Through Youth Red Cross I was introduced to road safety, First aid etc. Amongst all it awakened our conscience and alerted our senses.
On our way back home we witnessed a tragic accident, where the injured lay helplessly in a pool of blood. Everyone gathered and watched but none came forward to help the needy. I and my friend took the victim to a nearby hospital for treatment. The Doctor informed" Your help has saved a life".
