Continuous rain in the south Bengal districts of Purba Medinipur, South 24 Parganas, North 24 Parganas, Howrah, Hooghly and Kolkata

coastal Sub Divisions/blocks such as  Mr. Tapash Mondal (from Sagar Island), Mr. Mahim Das(from Kakdwip), Ms. Ashima Kayal (from Pathar Pratima) and Mr. Asim Das (from Canning) are in touch with local administration and a team of 40 - 50 SERVs/RCVs are ready for S&R and FA if situation requires.

Our SERV District Instructor Ms. Asima Kayal has reported that many people in Pathar Pratima block have moved into the local cyclone shelter.  A Govt. Disaster Management Team has left for G Plot Gram Panchayat ( most at risk place) under Pathar Pratima.
