The Hon’ble President of Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS) (Hon’ble President of India) has kindly fixed the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the IRCS on Tuesday, the 13th May, 2025. The Ceremonial Session of the AGM will be held from 11.20 to 12.20 hrs at Rashtrapati Bhawan Cultural Centre, New Delhi. The Hon’ble President will preside over the Ceremonial Session of the AGM and felicitate the best performing State/UT Red Cross Branches and distinguished Red Cross volunteers.
Shri J.P. Nadda, the Hon’ble Chairman, IRCS (Hon’ble Minister of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of India) will preside over the Business Session of the AGM from 12.40 PM to 1.30 PM on the same day to transact the following business:-
1. Confirmation of the proceedings of the last Annual General Meeting held on 17th July, 2023.
2. Presentation, consideration and adoption of:-
(i) Annual Report FY 2022-23, Annual Report FY 2023-24, Audited Annual Accounts FY 2022-23 and Audited Annual Accounts FY 2023-24 of the IRCS
(ii)Budget of the IRCS for the years FY 2024-25 & FY 2025-26.
3. Approval for appointment of Statutory Auditors for the years 2024-25 & 2025-26 and their remuneration.
As per IRCS Rule 4.3, at each Annual General Meeting, the Annual Report, the audited annual accounts and the budget of the succeeding financial year shall be presented, considered and adopted. Rule 4.4 stipulates that the Annual Accounts for the financial year concluding prior to the Annual General Meeting shall, before being presented, be circulated to the State and Union Territory Branch Committees.
